Responsibilities

1. Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, handling various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, loyalty offers, and coupons, following company policy.
2. Rotate merchandise according to code dating policies, check product quality, and review sell-by dates.
3. Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and making product suggestions.
4. Stock, order, label, and inventory merchandise; report discrepancies to management.
5. Adhere to cash handling, food safety, and legal guidelines, including temperature logs and safety procedures.
6. Maintain physical requirements such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs., and operating equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and effective communication abilities.
• Ability to complete cashier training and memorize produce and sale items.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Experience
