Minimum Position Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.

• Ability to complete cashier training and memorize produce and sale items.
• Effective communication and reading skills.
• Must be 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Rotate all merchandise according to code dating policies and check product quality for freshness.
• Promote trust and respect among team members.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions about products.
• Maintain knowledge of products and make suggestions to customers.
• Greet, engage, and assist customers.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Order, label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
• Report discrepancies in product ordering and shipping.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling various tenders and adhering to company policies.
• Follow cash handling and sales guidelines, and work to control loss.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures and logs.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed, report unsafe conditions, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Report accidents, safety risks, illegal activities, and comply with laws and company policies.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and climbing, with or without accommodations.
