Hy-Vee is seeking a Checker in our grocery department to operate a register, assist customers throughout the store, and help ensure a positive shopping experience. The role focuses on friendly customer service, accurate transaction handling, and adherence to store policies.

No prior education or experience is required as we provide comprehensive training; the position offers hourly pay and opportunities for advancement within a team-focused environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers and making visits great.
• Operate the cash register and process all payment types.
• Count back change and issue receipts or credits as needed.
• Comply with laws for WIC, food stamps, tobacco, liquor, and lottery items.
• Stock, bag, and assist with drive-up and carry-out services.
• Stay informed on item numbers, prices, and weekly ads.
• Maintain clean register area and ensure supplies are available.
• Verify register balances at shift start and end.
