Job summary

Oklahoma City Community College seeks a proactive TRiO GRIT Coordinator to coordinate the GRIT program recruitment, outreach, and client support. You will develop marketing materials, partner with community entities, and guide participants through intake and enrollment processes.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience with low-income or first-generation populations. Travel within service area and grant-funded role expectations are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with low-income, first-generation populations.
• Ability to communicate in English and another language.
• Project management and organizing skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the GRIT recruitment and outreach activities.
• Develop marketing and outreach materials for GRIT.
• Recruit GRIT participants; conduct applicant intake interviews.
• Prepare needs assessments and develop Individualized Support Plans (ISP).
• Advise and monitor participants toward enrollment periods; provide counseling.
• Develop relationships with regional community partners; promote GRIT services to diverse communities.
• Ensure confidentiality and maintain participant monitoring files.
