Metal Finishing Technologies, LLC is seeking a Blasting Operator in Bloomfield, CT. This full-time position involves grit blasting parts, maintaining equipment and safety compliance in a FAA-regulated environment.

The role requires 1–3 years of similar experience, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and forklift experience or willingness to be trained. Hourly pay ranges from $20.00 to $24.00, with benefits potential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in a similar role.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Forklift experience or willingness to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Process parts to documented procedures.
• Grit blast parts in cabinets, at automated machines, or blast room.
• Mask and unmask as necessary.
• Ensure safety in all aspects of the role.
• Ensure parts meet process requirements and take appropriate action if non-conforming.
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
• Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected.
• Other duties as assigned.
