Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a hands-on Grit Blast Operator in Manchester, CT. This on-site role focuses on preparing aerospace sheet metal parts by grit blasting, masking, and coating removal in a controlled manufacturing environment.

You will read blueprints, measure dimensions, and ensure tolerances while maintaining equipment and following blueprints and tech manuals. This full-time position emphasizes safety and precision in a dynamic shop setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to comply with ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Masking parts for grit blasting and marking restricted areas.
• Strip coating from aerospace parts using grit blast.
• Read and interpret technical manuals and specifications.
• Visually inspect parts for coating removal and tolerances.
• Maintain grit blast equipment and perform routine maintenance.
