Job summary

EMC Precision is seeking a skilled machinist with 2–5 years of experience in precision machining. The role requires reading drawings, interpreting micrometer data, and maintaining tight tolerances of 0.0001. Candidates must pass a background check and drug screen and have a solid work history.

Responsibilities include dressing wheels, setting blade heights, and adjusting machine settings to ensure quality parts. A High School diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in precision machining.
• Able to dress wheels and set work blade heights.
• Experience holding tolerances of 0.0001 or better.
• Read and interpret drawings.
• Read micrometer and other precision instruments.
• Calculate/adjust machine settings.
• Identify and solve problems.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Solid work history.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
