Job summary

EMC Precision is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist Operator to ensure our operations run smoothly. The role involves CNC manufacturing of precision components on CNC lathes, requiring reading drawings and micrometers, and adjusting machine settings to quality standards.

You will train and mentor teammates, uphold 5S practices, and contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient production floor. A background check, drug screen, and one year of shop experience are expected.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED preferred and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • Fluent in Shop Math.
  • Minimum of one year of shop experience.
  • Maintains cleanliness of work area utilizing 5S techniques and methods.
  • Responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of equipment.
  • Solid work history.
  • Must be able to frequently: push, pull, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, stand, see general and close up, hear, speak, use motor coordination - dexterity as well as eye, hand, foot and use of hand(s), wrist, arms, and fingers and arm(s) in any direction.
  • Must be able to occasionally: kneel, stoop, bend, grip, climb flights of stairs.

EMC Precision has provided complex parts in low- to mid-volume quantities expertly machined since 1925. This CNC Machinist Operator will be responsible for the CNC manufacturing of precision components on CNC Lathes.

Primary Job Duties:
  • CNC Machine experience required
