Job summary

EMC Precision is seeking a precision machinist with 2–5 years of experience to perform high-precision machining tasks. The role involves setting up machines, reading drawings, and maintaining strict tolerances using micrometers and precision instruments.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of machinist/precision grinding experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient with micrometers and other precision measuring tools.
• Experience holding tolerances to 0.0001".
• Must be able to calculate and adjust machine settings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and good work history.

Responsibilities

• Dress wheels and set work blade heights.
• Read and interpret drawings for setup and production.
• Read micrometers and other precision instruments to verify parts.
• Calculate and adjust machine settings to maintain tolerances.
• Identify and solve manufacturing/process issues.
• Complete background check and drug screen as required.
• Maintain solid work history and reliability.
