Qualifications

• Capability to set up and operate various grinders including internal, centerless, surface, external, thread and universal types.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates internal, centerless, surface, external, thread and universal grinders for production, experimental, and tool work.
• Makes measurements and ensures tolerances with fixtures, rests or blocks, selecting speeds, feeds and wheels accordingly.
• Grinds steps, tapers, recesses, shoulders, angles, contours and threads as required.
