Job summary

Textron's Textron Systems/Textron Aviation (Fort Worth area) is seeking a Grinder Production A for the 2nd shift. You will set up and operate multiple grinders for production, experimental, and tool work, handling challenging tasks with tight tolerances.

Responsibilities include grinding steps, tapers, recesses, shoulders, angles, contours and threads, plus setting up truing devices for various threads and selecting speeds, feeds and wheels. Three years of production grinding experience required.

Qualifications

• Three years of production grinding experience including setup.
• ITAR eligibility: U.S. person required.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates internal, centerless, surface, external, thread and universal grinders for production, experimental, and tool work.
• Grinds steps, tapers, recesses, shoulders, angles, contours and threads.
• Sets up truing devices on thread grinding for various types and forms of threads.
• Selects proper speeds, feeds, and wheels.
• Holds work to required tolerances with exacting setups.
