Qualifications

• Two (2) years of production grinding experience or the equivalent technical education.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates grinders for production, experimental, and tool work.
• Grinds steps, tapers, recesses, shoulders, angles, contours and threads.
• Sets up truing devices on thread grinding for various thread forms.
• Selects correct speeds, feeds and wheels for duties.
• Maintains required tolerances with fixtures, rests, or blocks.
