Job summary

Ajasianfoods in Michigan is seeking a Machine Operator to keep production running at full capacity, visually inspect output, and document results under the supervision of the Production supervisor. Responsibilities include following GMPs, performing setup and changeovers, ensuring product quality, maintaining production records, and reporting problems to the lead.

Overtime/weekend work may be required. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing operator experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities; basic math and auditing paperwork.
• Ability to adapt to change.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Stand for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs; work in confined areas.
• Overtime and weekend work as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Follow GMPs at all times.
• Perform line setup, start up, operations, closing and changeover of equipment.
• Ensure product quality is met throughout process.
• Perform checks and inspections to verify quality.
• Perform adjustments as necessary.
• Perform machine setups per procedures and setup sheets.
• Accurately complete and maintain all production records.
• Report problems to department lead.
• Adequate housekeeping to keep an organized layout.
• Adhere to quality and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as directed by the lead.
