MacLean-Fogg is seeking a Machine Set-Up Operator Trainee for the 3rd shift at our Farmington Hills, Michigan facility. You will operate assigned machinery, inspect parts, perform SPC checks, and support safe, quality-focused production under supervision.

This entry-level role emphasizes learning manufacturing processes while maintaining 5S standards. A high school diploma or equivalent and willingness to train on 3rd shift are required, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years of experience desired or entry-level.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Able to follow written and verbal directions.
• Basic communication skills and counting/measurement basics.
• Willingness to learn basic inspection and measurement processes.
• Flexible to train on 1st or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned mechanical equipment and follow instructions.
• Gauge, inspect and measure parts; perform SPC checks.
• Monitor production output to meet quality standards.
• Document production and quality data accurately.
• Maintain organized workspace following 5S standards.
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality policies.
