Job summary

Ajasianfoods is seeking a Machine Operator to keep production lines running at full capacity and ensure product quality. The role involves machine setup, start-up, breakdown, and routine checks, with emphasis on preventing downtime and maintaining a clean work area.

The successful candidate will have at least 6 months of machine operation experience, the ability to read and write in English, and the stamina for a physically demanding environment. Weekend and overtime work may be required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a Machine Operator preferred, manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to solve simple mathematical equations involving percentages.
• Ability to work in a cold or warm environment, depending on line and machine.
• Comfortable with doing a very physical job with lots of movement and heavy lifting.
• High levels of attention to detail.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines safely during setup, troubleshooting and breakdown.
• Set up, start-up and breakdown at the beginning and end of production shifts.
• Troubleshoot to minimize production downtime.
• Adjust to maximize machine efficiency and communicate improvements to team.
• Identify mechanical issues to reduce downtime and report to Leads/Supervisors.
• Operate other equipment as required in the production process.
• Follow GMPs at all times during production.
