Job summary

Responsibilities include performing quality checks, maintaining logs, and communicating with roaster and packaging teams, QA, and scheduler. OSHA, GMPs and SQF compliance knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Perform quality checks with testing instruments and record results.
• Understand OSHA, GMPs and SQF requirements in a food manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate good basic math skills.
• Show intermediate computer skills.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Display leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Interpret daily production schedule.
• Set grinder specifications per product recipe.
• Complete daily shift reports.
• Hit daily grinding production goals.
• Record grind results in logs and report.
• Record start/stop times and gas-off periods.
• Coordinate with roaster, packaging, and scheduler on progress.
• Report nonconforming product to shift supervisor or QA lab.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
