Textron Aviation is seeking a Machinist - Grinder on the 2nd shift to operate ball form thread grinders on OD/ID workpieces. You will set up machines, verify fits, and perform routine maintenance while ensuring quality per prints.

Responsibilities include process optimization, tool changes, and contributing to continuous improvement. Strong GD&T and CNC programming with G-code/M-code are preferred, with related education to support machining tasks.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years machining experience on ID/OD/Jig/Surface grinding
• Two years programming with G-code/M-code
• Experience with CNC/manual grinders preferred
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge

Aufgaben

• Set up and operate ball form thread grinding on OD/ID machines
• Produce parts from prints and verify with gauges
• Perform in-process inspection for quality
• Maintain clean, organized work area and tool data
• Assist in training other machinists and document data control
