Job summary

Textron Aviation is seeking a Machinist - Grinder (AeroMotion) on 2nd Shift in Michigan. You will set up and operate ball form thread grinding on OD/ID machines, inspect parts, and maintain tooling and documentation to ensure quality products.

The role requires 2 years of machining and programming experience, with GD&T and blueprint reading proficiency, in a fast-paced shop environment. Competitive total rewards and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certificate required.
• 2 years machining experience in ID/OD/Jig/Surface grinding or related.
• 2 years programming experience with G-code/M-code.
• Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC grinders per work orders.
• Perform in-process inspection to ensure quality.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and tools.
• Identify and resolve setup/run time discrepancies with leadership.
• Assist in training of other machinists and upkeep of documentation.
