Job summary

Terrain Café, part of the URBN family in Philadelphia, seeks a Grill Cook for a fast-paced scratch kitchen. You will move across Grill, Sauté, and Oven stations, ensuring quality, portions, and presentation while maintaining a clean workstation.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and adherence to food safety. Shifts include mornings/evenings and weekends; benefits included with full-time employment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a high-volume or scratch kitchen.
• Comfortable working multiple stations, especially sauté, grill, and oven.
• Physically able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work long shifts.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and select holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meats, seafood, vegetables, and other items to recipe and plating standards.
• Execute dishes across multiple stations; support Salad, Pastry, and Prep as needed.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized station for service.
