Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Cook to join our restaurant team at our Texas locations. The role focuses on preparing and presenting quality foods to ensure guests leave satisfied and return as travelers on the road.

The position requires cooking across multiple stations with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy. Responsibilities include setting up grill/broiler/fryer, completing prep and temperature checklists, and maintaining clean, organized work areas.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience with food prep and line cooking guidance.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present quality foods to guests per recipes and standards.
• WASH, CHOP, and sort ingredients for service.
• Set up broiler, fryer and grill stations as per line check sheets.
• Complete prep, freezer pull and temperature checklist sheets.
• Follow safety guidelines and manage waste control procedures.
