Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Cook to join our restaurant team. The role focuses on preparing and presenting quality food to guests, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and customer service.

You will perform prep tasks, operate grill stations, and follow safety and plate presentation guidelines. Responsibilities include completing prep, temperature checklists, maintaining proper food handling, and prioritizing tasks to meet guest needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present quality food to guests according to recipes and plate presentation guides.
• Perform prep tasks such as washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients.
• Operate grill, broiler, fryer and other stations per line check sheets.
• Complete prep, freezer pull and temperature checklist sheets.
• Serve safely with proper food handling and waste control procedures.
• Prioritize work according to restaurant and guest needs.
• Build communication and rapport with leaders and co-workers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
