Job summary

Episcopal Homes of Minnesota is seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team in St. Paul. You will prepare meals for residents, follow recipes and dietary guidelines, and ensure quality, portion control, and presentation in a vibrant senior living campus.

You will work Tue–Sat 11:00 am–7:30 pm with additional Sunday shift as scheduled, plus every other weekend, and participate in a comprehensive benefits program that supports health, retirement, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Previous food preparation or production experience.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Basic math skills for portioning and food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to recipes, production sheets, and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure food meets standards for quality, portion size, temperature, and presentation.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and work area.
• Complete production and tally sheets accurately.
• Use ingredients and leftovers efficiently to help reduce food waste.
