Job summary

El Pollo Loco in Las Vegas is seeking a Grill Master to prepare and cook chicken and grilled proteins to company standards, marinating, seasoning, and presenting dishes to ensure a best-in-class guest experience. You’ll work with a fast-paced team, follow safety guidelines, and participate in a supportive environment with benefits and career growth. Qualifications

• Food handler certification obtained promptly after hire.
• Experience in customer service or food service preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, marinate, season, cook, stock and rotate chicken and other grilled proteins according to company standards.
• Receive orders, cut cooked chicken, and arrange proteins for presentation on the plate or in the packaging.
• Monitor holding time and take corrective actions when hold time expires or quality is not met.
• Maintain serving temperatures for all cooked proteins.
• Inspect raw proteins for quality before marinating or grilling.
• Clean and sanitize the work area and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
