Job summary

Delaware North Gaming in West Memphis, Arkansas, is seeking a Cook 3 to lead in the kitchen and ensure high-quality food production. The role supports management in menu planning, training, equipment operation, and maintaining health codes. Shifts include evenings and weekends with OT as needed.

The position requires 2+ years of back-of-house experience, grill expertise, ability to read prep sheets and recipes, and basic math skills. A HS diploma is not required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of prior experience in a back-of-house foodservice position.
• Grill experience is required.
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes.
• Basic math skills to calculate and follow recipe measurements.

Responsibilities

• Review menus and customer orders to determine types and quantities of food to prepare and ensure proper portions and quality.
• Keep workstations, coolers, and equipment clean, sanitized, and stocked, and maintain sanitary kitchen conditions.
• Use waste control guidelines and record waste on spoilage sheet.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory.
