Job summary

Delaware North Gaming, operating at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas, seeks a Cook 3 to lead in the kitchen. You will plan menus with management, ensure quality, train staff, and monitor costs while upholding health codes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years back-of-house foodservice experience.
• Grill experience required.
• Ability to read prep sheets and recipes.
• Basic math for following recipes and portions.

Responsibilities

• Review menus and customer orders to determine type and quantities of food, ensuring proper portions and temperatures.
• Keep workstations, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked; maintain sanitary facilities.
• Use waste control guidelines and record waste on spoilage sheets.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end-of-day inventory.
