We are hiring immediately for a part-time GRILL COOK position.

Location: Ballad Health Bristol Regional Medical Center - 1 Medical Park Boulevard, Bristol, TN 37620. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time; First week, Friday through Monday, 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. Second week, Friday through Sunday, 11:00 am to 7:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior cooking and food service experience required.

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station according to standards to ensure high-quality food service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Takes customer orders and prepares items requiring short preparation; completes orders from steam tables and serves at multiple stations.
2. Serves customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and visually appealing. Tastes all prepared food.
3. Uses established ticket-collection procedures; maintains records during service.
4. Uses approved recipes and standards for quality, temperature, and portion control.
5. Handles pans, kettles, and trays safely between workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
6. Stores foods properly, following safety, wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
7. Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
8. Resolves customer concerns and reports issues to supervisor.
9. Attends in-service and safety meetings.
10. Maintains positive relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
11. Performs duties safely in a clean, safe environment.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
