We are hiring immediately for a part-time PREP COOK position.

Location: Pfizer CRU - One Howe Street, New Haven, CT 06511. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Part-time; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, holidays required. 10:00 am to 8:30 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirements: Prior institutional food service experience required.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $18.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers according to applicable standards and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
2. Prepare items following recipes and quantities.
3. Complete and follow production worksheets and waste logs. Taste meals for quality.
4. Operate and clean equipment after use.
5. Store, label, and date food items following HACCP guidelines.
6. Complete required documentation and reports.
7. Follow health and sanitation regulations.
8. Take customer orders and prepare quick-prep items.
9. Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
10. Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
11. Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
