Job summary

Goode Company in Town Center, Texas is hiring a Grill Cook to operate a focused kitchen station with speed, consistency, and respect for ingredients. You’ll set up, stock, and maintain the assigned station, manage grill temperature zones, and cook proteins and vegetables to requested doneness and recipe standards.

Read tickets, coordinate timing with the line and service team, and ensure quality and food-safety.

Qualifications

• Grill cook or comparable high-volume kitchen experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of station organization, cooking technique, timing, and sanitation.
• Ability to follow recipes, stay composed under pressure, and communicate with the team.
• Food Handler Certification.

Responsibilities

• Set up, stock, and maintain the assigned station for efficient service.
• Manage grill temperature zones and cook proteins and vegetables to requested doneness and recipe standards.
• Prepare and cook menu items to recipe, portion, temperature, timing, and presentation standards.
• Read tickets and coordinate timing and communication with the line, expo, and service team.
• Monitor product quality, pars, rotation, waste, and food-safety controls.
• Use kitchen tools and commercial equipment safely and report maintenance concerns.
• Complete opening, cleaning, breakdown, labeling, and closing work thoroughly.
