Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Full-time Grill Cook to join our kitchen team in Monroeville, operating Monday through Friday from 6am to 2pm with no weekend or holiday shifts.

Responsibilities include grilling, frying, sauteing, and food preparation, while maintaining inventory, safety, and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Culinary experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and team focus.
• Excellent food presentation skills.

• Deep fry, grill, and sauté meats, fish, vegetables and other foods.
• Observe and test foods being cooked by tasting, smelling and piercing.
• Prepare food for cooking and seasoning.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipe.
• Maintain proper grill cooking temperatures.
• Keep kitchen equipment clean and professional in appearance at all times.
• Manage food inventory.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Encourage good customer relations through product promotion.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately hire to fill the role of Full-time Grill Cook, working Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm, No Weekends/Holidays.
