Job Opening: Grill Cook

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time GRILL COOK positions at Robert Louis Stevenson School, located at 3152 Forrest Lake Road, Pebble Beach, CA 93953. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time shifts available, including mornings and evenings from Monday through Sunday. Specific hours will be discussed during the interview.

Requirements: ServSafe certification is preferred.

Pay Range: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour

Job Summary

Prepare food and serve customers at the grill station, adhering to federal, state, and corporate standards to ensure high-quality service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Take customer orders and prepare items requiring minimal preparation, including serving from steam tables.
2. Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring food quality and correct temperatures.
3. Use established procedures for ticket collection and record keeping during service.
4. Follow approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
5. Transport food safely between workstations and storage areas.
6. Store foods properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
7. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
8. Address customer concerns and report issues to supervisors.
9. Attend safety and in-service meetings.
10. Foster positive relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
11. Perform all duties safely and maintain a clean work environment.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned.
