We are hiring immediately for full-time GRILL COOK positions.

Location: Owensboro Health - 1201 Pleasant Valley Road, Owensboro, KY 42303

Schedule: Full-time, with days varying from 4:00 am to 12:30 pm, 5 days a week. Must be able to work every other weekend. More details provided during interview.

Requirements: 1-2 years of previous cook experience strongly preferred.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station, adhering to federal, state, and corporate standards for high-quality food service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short preparation times.
• Serve food efficiently and courteously, ensuring proper temperature and presentation.
• Use established procedures for order collection and record-keeping.
• Follow approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
• Transport food safely between workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
• Store foods properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Address customer concerns and report issues to supervisors.
• Participate in in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and management.
• Perform job safely, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
