  • We are hiring immediately for full-time PREP COOK positions.
  • Location: Owensboro Health - 1201 Pleasant Valley Road, Owensboro, KY 42303. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full-time; 5 days a week. 4:00 am to 12:30 pm; days may vary; rotating weekends. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: 1 year of culinary experience.
  • Perks: Vacation, shift differential pay, healthcare benefits, and free shift meals!
  • Pay Range: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.

Essential Duties:

  1. Obtain daily production schedule from the Chef.
  2. Prepare items following recipes and quantities.
  3. Complete production worksheets and taste meals for quality.
  4. Operate and clean equipment after use.
  5. Store, label, and date food items per policy, following HACCP guidelines.
  6. Complete required documentation and logs.
  7. Follow health and sanitation regulations.
  8. Take customer orders and prepare quick items.
  9. Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
  10. Use approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
  11. Resolve customer concerns.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
