We are hiring immediately for full-time GRILL COOK positions at Owensboro Health, located at 1201 Pleasant Valley Road, Owensboro, KY 42303. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, days may vary from 4:00 am to 12:30 pm, 5 days a week, including every other weekend. More details provided upon interview.

Requirement: 1-2 years of previous cook experience strongly preferred.

Pay Range: $14.00 to $16.40 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station following federal, state, and corporate standards to ensure high-quality food service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Takes orders, prepares items requiring short preparation, and serves at multiple stations.
• Serves customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring food quality, temperature, and presentation.
• Uses ticket-collection procedures, maintains records during service.
• Uses approved recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
• Carries food and supplies safely between work areas.
• Stores food properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas and equipment.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports issues to supervisors.
• Attends safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintains positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
