We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time COOK positions.

Location: Owensboro Health - 1201 Pleasant Valley Road, Owensboro, KY 42303

Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Days may vary between 4:00 am - 7:00 pm. 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. More details upon interview.

Requirement: 1-2 years of previous culinary experience highly preferred.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes and instructions to meet schedules.
2. Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation.
3. Uses established procedures during service and maintains records.
4. Cleans kitchen after preparation and service, maintains cleanliness and proper storage.
5. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment.
6. Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
7. Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
8. Attends safety and in-service meetings.
9. Maintains good relationships with coworkers and clients.
10. Follows safety standards, including HACCP, and company policies.
