Job Opening: Grill Cook

We are hiring immediately for a full-time GRILL COOK position.

Location: Fed Ex Indy - 6648 South Perimeter Road, Indianapolis, IN 46241. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Thursday and Saturday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. More details provided during interview.

Requirements: Previous grill cook experience is required.

Pay Range: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour

Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station according to standards and regulations to ensure high-quality service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Take orders and prepare items requiring short preparation; serve at multiple stations.
2. Serve customers efficiently and friendly, ensuring food quality and temperature.
3. Use established procedures for ticket collection and record keeping.
4. Follow recipes and standards for quality and portion control.
5. Transport food safely between workstations and storage areas.
6. Store foods properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
7. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
8. Resolve customer concerns and report issues to supervisors.
9. Attend safety and in-service meetings.
10. Maintain good relationships with coworkers and management.
11. Perform duties safely and maintain a clean work environment.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
