We are hiring immediately for a full-time GRILL COOK position.

Location: Visa Ashburn Cafe - 45005 Russell Branch Parkway, Ashburn, VA 20147. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 3:00 pm. More details upon interview.

Requirements: Grill/flat-top cooking experience and customer service skills required. English reading and speaking skills required.

Pay Range: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station according to applicable standards and regulations to ensure high-quality food service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation, completes orders from steam tables, and serves customers at multiple stations.
2. Serves customers efficiently and friendly, maintaining food at correct temperatures and ensuring presentation and taste quality. Tastes all prepared food items.
3. Uses established ticket-collection procedures during service and maintains records from area worked.
4. Uses approved recipes and standards to ensure quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
5. Transfers pans, kettles, and trays safely between workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
6. Stores foods properly, following safety and rotation procedures.
7. Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
8. Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to supervisor.
9. Attends in-service and safety meetings.
10. Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
11. Performs job safely in a clean, safe environment.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
