• We are hiring immediately for a full-time GRILL COOK position.
• Location: Navy Federal Winchester - 141 Security Drive, Winchester, VA 22602. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm; more details upon interview.
• Requirement: High volume grill experience, kitchen experience, and food safety knowledge are required.

Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station following federal, state, and corporate standards to ensure high-quality food service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short preparation times. Complete orders from steam tables and serve at multiple stations.
• Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring food is at the correct temperature, attractive, and tasty. Taste all prepared food items.
• Use established ticket-collection procedures and maintain records during service.
• Follow approved recipes and standards for quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Transport food safely between workstations, stove, and refrigerator.
• Store foods properly, following safety, wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils to meet sanitation standards.
• Address customer concerns and report relevant issues to supervisors.
• Attend in-service and safety meetings.
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Perform duties safely, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
