Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in a cook or related role is required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation principles and cooking methods.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations including handling, sanitation and storage.
• Basic math and counting skills; ability to read recipes and measurements.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with a team.
• Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs may be required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods per production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely use utensils including knives.
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, and other equipment.
• Cook using diverse methods for meats, vegetables, and other foods.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion foods per guidelines.
• Store food following safety policies.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude toward guests and coworkers.
