Responsibilities:
- Prepare all grill-related food items according to prescribed methods, including cleaning, cutting ingredients, and cooking on the grill (steaks, burgers, poultry, etc.).
- Ensure availability of all grill station materials and supplies, including utensils, seasonings, and ingredients.
- Set up the grill station following established guidelines for efficient service and quality guest experience.
- Follow recipes and plating guidelines to ensure consistency in presentation and taste.
- Operate the grill independently, managing temperatures and cooking times to meet quality standards.
- Prepare grilled food items based on sales forecasts and business levels.
- Adhere to HACCP procedures during shifts to ensure food safety.
- Order grill-specific food and non-food items as needed.
- Maintain safety standards while using knives, grills, and other equipment.
- Restock and breakdown the grill station at shift end, ensuring readiness for the next day.
- Clean and organize the grill station and equipment throughout and at the end of shifts.
- Stay updated on products and procedures related to grilling techniques and ingredients.
- Communicate inventory needs and suggestions for improvements to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring efficient shift operation.
- Follow safety and sanitation practices, report hazards or accidents.
Departmental Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
- Minimum six months experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant or equivalent.
- Culinary degree preferred but not required.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to handle a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret safety and operating documents.
