Job summary

Everstory Partners in High Point, NC seeks a hands-on Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance team, ensure safety, and uphold the visual standard of site properties. This role requires leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to train staff across maintenance tasks.

You will manage landscaping duties, operate heavy equipment safely, and coordinate with Sales and Administration to anticipate needs.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency required.
• 3+ years of grounds maintenance supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of mechanical/building maintenance experience.
• Cemetery work experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train maintenance employees.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise grounds and laborer workers; ensure safety and upkeep for the location.
• Maintain and improve properties, buildings, fixtures, equipment and operations.
• Lead maintenance team and provide ongoing training.
• Coordinate with Sales and Administration on current and future location needs.
• Perform landscape duties including weed-whacking and mowing.
• Operate maintenance machinery safely; manage cemetery vaults and memorials as needed.
