Job summary

At Mott MacDonald in North America, we seek a Senior Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams delivering transmission, substation, and grid infrastructure projects for utilities. You will manage client relationships, project budgets, schedules, and risk while expanding our service offerings across planning, engineering, environmental, and advisory disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
• 10+ years delivering multidisciplinary services for electrical utility and energy infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of utility capital project development (planning, routing, permitting, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning).
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and commercial performance.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, client relationship, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and manage complex portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex transmission, substation, and utility projects with multiple disciplines.
• Deliver consulting, planning, environmental, advisory, and construction support from start to closeout.
• Develop and manage execution plans, budgets, schedules, forecasts, and staffing.
• Own project governance, reporting, risk, and contractual compliance.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with utilities and energy stakeholders.
• Support strategic pursuits, proposals, and growth across power and grid modernization.
