Job summary

1898 & Co., part of Burns & McDonnell, is seeking a Project Delivery Manager in the New England area to lead an execution team within Transmission Planning & Power Systems Analysis and Grid Modernization & Distribution Planning. This role centers on delivering high-quality consulting services and guiding staff development for utility clients across North America.

You will provide strategic leadership, manage staffing and budgets, and collaborate with directors to meet project goals and growth

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, finance, business, or related field and 5 years of related experience required.
Previous leadership and/or management experience is preferable.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to present complex information to all levels.
Ability to influence, lead, and manage change.
Strong project management skills and a strategic perspective.
Expert in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership to a team of consultants and analysts.
Ensure project excellence, staff development, and alignment with company goals.
Recruit, develop, train, and retain high-performing staff.
Coordinate workload and staffing with business line leads and managing directors.
Lead QA/QC efforts and ensure compliance with policies.
