Job summary

1898 & Co., a division of Burns & McDonnell, seeks an experienced Grid Systems Project Manager to deliver utility grid modernization consulting for electric utility clients. You will join the Enterprise System & Integration team, focusing on SCADA, EMS, OMS, DMS, ADMS, and DERMS modernization across multiple sites including Phoenix.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business, Information Technology, or related degree with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge in project management, techniques, and procedures.
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• Experience leading technical aspects of consulting engagements in regards to decarbonization and zero emissions transportation.
• Experience on consulting projects, client operations, or executing program management within the critical infrastructure industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery for grid operations modernization programs including SCADA, EMS, OMS, DMS, ADMS, and DERMS.
• Provide field support, troubleshooting and coordination to enhance and maintain SCADA, EMS, OMS, DMS, ADMS, and DERMS systems.
• Lead program estimating, planning, and budgeting efforts and be accountable for the program/project delivery execution.
• Act as the project manager lead with overall project delivery responsibilities including scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues and quality.
• Support analyses and deployment activities, utilizing Waterfall and Agile methodologies for enterprise program management.
