Job summary

Global Talent Resources, Inc. seeks an Interconnection Project Manager in Atlanta to support utility interconnection applications, technical analysis, site diligence, and development activities for powered land and existing assets.

You will coordinate with utilities and consultants, track milestones and costs, review studies, and advance sites through interconnection and entitlement processes. A background in electrical engineering and 5–9 years in relevant utilities is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• 5–9 years of full-time experience with utilities, transmission, power systems, or electrical engineering.
• Coursework or project experience in power systems preferred.
• Exposure to RTOs/ISOs or large-load interconnection processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit interconnection applications and track milestones and deposits through SIS, Facilities, and DSA.
• Review system studies and interconnection agreements; summarize risks and cost implications for the deal team.
• Conduct preliminary feasibility for sites, including transmission proximity and substation capacity.
• Serve as day-to-day contact with utility engineering staff for updates and document requests.
• Manage consultants and utility contacts as a central resource for interconnection needs.
