Job summary

Itron is seeking a senior leader for Grid Edge Intelligence Portfolio Marketing & Solutions Strategy to define, package, and evangelize the portfolio for electric utilities. This chief storyteller aligns product, industry strategy, sales, and corporate marketing to deliver customer value and measurable growth.

You will partner across Product Management, Corporate Marketing, and Customer Success to craft executive-level messaging, drive market adoption, and enable solution selling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Energy Systems, Communications, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in Product Marketing, Solution Marketing, Product Management, Portfolio Strategy, Industry Strategy, Go-to-Market Leadership, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated success developing portfolio-level positioning, solution messaging, executive value propositions, and market narratives across multiple products, platforms, or business units.
• Strong understanding of electric utility operations and digital transformation initiatives, including Grid Modernization, AMI, DER, and Grid Edge technologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise B2B solution sales with customer-focused messaging.
• Proven ability to influence across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve market-facing strategy, positioning, messaging architecture, and value proposition for Grid Edge Intelligence.
• Develop a cohesive portfolio narrative translating technologies into customer-centric solutions.
• Define and package integrated solutions connecting investments to utility outcomes.
• Partner with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Industry Strategy, and Customer Success for alignment and launches.
• Lead portfolio-level go-to-market strategies including segmentation, buyer personas, and campaign themes.
