Itron, Inc. is seeking a Leader, Grid Edge Intelligence Portfolio Marketing & Solutions Strategy to drive the market-facing strategy for the Grid Edge Intelligence portfolio.

This executive role aligns Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver customer-centric narratives and measurable business impact. The position requires 8+ years in marketing/strategy roles, strong storytelling skills, and experience with utility technology markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Energy Systems, Communications, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in Product Marketing, Solution Marketing, Product Management, Portfolio Strategy, Industry Strategy, Go‑to‑Market Leadership, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of electric utility operations and digital transformation initiatives, including Grid Modernization, AMI, DER, Grid Edge technologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise B2B solution sales.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across cross‑functional teams while balancing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the market-facing strategy, positioning, messaging architecture, and value proposition for the Grid Edge Intelligence portfolio.
• Develop a cohesive portfolio narrative translating products and data into customer‑centric solutions.
• Define and package integrated solutions linking tech investments to utility outcomes.
• Lead portfolio go‑to‑market strategies including segmentation, personas, and messaging.
• Create executive narratives, solution presentations, and seller playbooks for complex sales.
