Job summary

Itron, Inc. is seeking a Leader, Grid Edge Intelligence Portfolio Marketing & Solutions Strategy to define, package, and evangelize the Grid Edge Intelligence portfolio for electric utilities.

This leader will bridge Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Corporate Marketing to align with grid modernization and DER integration goals. This role will craft executive storytelling, develop go-to-market plans, and enable solution selling through business-value narratives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in Product Marketing, Solution Marketing, Product Management, Portfolio Strategy, Industry Strategy, or Go-to-Market Leadership.
• Strong understanding of electric utility operations and digital transformation initiatives (Grid Modernization, DER, AMI, DER).
• Experience supporting enterprise B2B solution sales with customer-focused messaging that drives business value.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and storytelling skills for executive audiences.
• Experience conducting market research, competitive intelligence, and industry trend assessments.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the market-facing strategy, positioning, messaging, and value proposition for the Grid Edge Intelligence portfolio.
• Develop cohesive portfolio narratives that translate products and data into customer-centric solutions.
• Define and package integrated solutions linking technology investments to utility outcomes.
• Partner with Product Management, Sales, Corporate Marketing to drive alignment and market impact.
• Lead portfolio go-to-market strategies, including segmentation, personas, and messaging.
• Create executive narratives, solution presentations, and seller enablement content.
• Serve as a portfolio evangelist to customers, partners, analysts, and executives.
• Lead market intelligence and competitive analysis to keep positioning differentiated.
• Identify trends, regulatory drivers, and customer priorities shaping strategy and opportunities.
