Hitachi Energy Ltd. in the United States seeks an engineer to support the development of control solutions for FACTS and HVDC projects within Grid Integration.

You will help develop interface and communication hardware and software, contribute to drawings, site layouts, PC and network configuration, and participate in design reviews, FAT/SAT, and commissioning. This role connects engineering development with field execution, emphasizing cybersecurity, safe project delivery, and hands-on

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Electrical/Controls)
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Industrial Control Systems (ICS) or OT
• Minimum 2 years of commissioning, FAT/SAT activities for industrial automation
• Experience with PLC programming, HMI development, SCADA systems, and control system integration
• Experience developing or supporting software that communicates with industrial equipment and networks
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and interfaces
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, domains, segmentation, virtualization, and OS administration
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity approaches and tools
• Willingness to travel ~25%
