Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a FACTS HMI/SCADA Network Engineer to design and deploy HMI/SCADA solutions for power quality projects in North America. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to translate requirements into secure, robust control-system architectures and support commissioning activities.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, testing, and deployment of HMI/SCADA platforms, with focus on cybersecurity, networking, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HMI/SCADA, industrial automation, or related engineering environments.
• Experience with industrial networks and control system cybersecurity is desired.
• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and verify HMI/SCADA applications for FACTS and power electronics projects.
• Develop secure industrial network architectures for SCADA and HMI systems.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Evaluate and strengthen cybersecurity measures for control networks.
