Job summary

Heron Power seeks a Compliance Engineer to drive the full product safety and regulatory lifecycle for grid-connected power electronics. You will lead from early engagement on codes and standards through certification and market entry, ensuring products meet all requirements and certifications for global rollout.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and manufacturing teams to embed compliance in design, develop test plans, and manage risk as standards evolve.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years’ experience in regulatory and compliance certification for solar, wind, battery or other power electronics products.
• Deep understanding of UL/IEC/EN, IEEE, and ISO standards and how they inform design and certification of grid-connected power electronics.

Responsibilities

• Research and apply regulatory compliance requirements to inform product listings and market entry.
• Embed compliance into product architecture and design across lifecycle.
• Develop and execute compliance test plans and build test infrastructure.
